The Office of Accountability and School Improvement Systems (OASIS) is a new office currently responsible for providing oversight, targeted monitoring, and implementation support for the ASDOE’s 5-year Strategic Plan, the K-3 Early Literacy Initiative, and K-12 Data Governance Policies and Procedures. With these responsibilities in addition to new upcoming initiatives, OASIS collaborates across the ASDOE divisions, offices, and key education stakeholders. The set goals are to identify education needs, plan for school improvement, build knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions, implement and monitor progress toward the ASDOE strategic priorities, and examine, reflect, and adjust our course to enhance the ASDOE continuous improvement. It is the synergistic relationship of the ASDOE divisions and offices that provides a strong foundation and success for ASDOE projects and activities.
