Accountability and School Improvement are complementary rather than separate concepts. Accountability answers the question, "How well are we performing?" while school improvement addresses, "How can we improve?"

 

The Office of Accountability and School Improvement Systems (OASIS) is committed to student success through continuious monitoring, oversight, and implementation to support the educational priorities of the American Samoa Department of Education (ASDOE); School Accountability & Territorial Reporting, the K-3 Early Literacy Initiative. 5 year Strategic Plan, and K-12 Data Governance.

Oasis is steadfast on collaboration with key stakeholders across ASDOE divisions, schools, and executive leadership to identify, execute, and sustain all departmental initiative that drive academic excellence and success.
